Our tactile pavings are engineered with the latest technology to provide the best guidance for visually impaired people and partially sighted people.
The main purpose is to warn visually impaired people when they are approaching a change in elevation such as railway platforms, pedestrian crossings, staircase ascent and descent areas, and many other applications. Our tactile pavings have an durable pigmented colour, so it won’t fade as time goes by. As the international standards imply, we use yellow colour to provide a good contrast with the surrounding area to assist and guide partially sighted people.
Pertruding stripes and blisters help visually disabled people to feel and navigate the pavement. By their design, colour and the sound they make by the touch of cane our tactile pavings are approved by GAUN (National Accessibility Movement).
